Did you know the (Yamaha made) 4.4 liter V8 in the recent Volvo XC90 SUV made less horsepower (311), than the current 4 cyl. Turbocharged and supercharged (320) engine does?
I went to Laguna Seca for the American LeMans series a few years ago. I wanted to see the diesels, which won BTW. Those 6 cylinder engines ran at lower rpms. They sounded different.
Six cylinder Porsches have always sounded okay to me.
