please advise,
how do I activate this bodily function?
...” If the body weight tends to increase, a signal is sent to the brain to decrease food intake and keep the body weight constant.”
it has not been working at all for me ..where’s the damned ON switch?

My built in scale is my lower back and my left knee. If I’ve put on ten pounds or more they ache like hell, time to cut the carbs and get back below 200. I personally feel better overall at around 190 but friends and family asking me if I’m feeling OK gets old, apparently I look a little gaunt at that weight. I’m 6’1”.

Supposedly, the more time a person spends on their feet the better it works.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

apparently Michael Moore does not have this function.

I call mine a belt notch.

Just start carrying around sandbags tied to your waist and the pounds come off.

Based on the article, if you want to lose 20 lbs, just wear a 20 lb weight belt.
But once you do lose the weight and take off the belt, all bets are off regarding what your body will then tell you to eat.

The weight of the body is registered in the lower extremities Cankles internal scale must be pegged out, but no one is listening.

Seriously, I invested in a gym weight vest that uses 1 lb. weight inserts, as many as you want 1 - 20 lbs. Under $25 at WalMart
I have mine up to 14 lbs now and try to wear it all day, but especially when I go for walks.
I am still overweight but not obese. The weight belt seems to help me burn more and eat less. I just don't feel like eating so much.
But you have to get off your butt and actually walk around with it from time to time, so your muscles and bones can give your brain the message,"Hey! Don't eat! You're (14 lbs) too heavy."
The vest is not bulky and fits unobtrusively over my sweater and under my winter jacket or coat.
