I was wondering if this should be an April story. Reminds me of a 1979 story in the school paper describing how Missouri would use a loophole to pay its football players by having the Tigers join the NFL but continue to play in the Big 8. The best parody must sound at least a little bit like the truth.
Clearly I should have read the article before posting.
