Odd to hear considering the ascendancy of street tacos here in Azatlan Grande del Nashville

"...I've always been a flour tortilla fan. Could never get used to the taste and texture of the corn ones. ..."

I love corn tortillas and cannot tolerate the funky blandness of white flour tortillas.

We should have a dance off, or something.

As an aside, the best BBQ in TX is Meshack’s in Garland.

I envy you your location!

Wow, a page and a half of posts, and none of them are blaming GMO’s?

I have found the best way to get good tortillas is to make friends with the lady in your church who make them.

She gets loaves of my sour-dough, I get a stack of flour and corn tortillas.

Everybody is happy.

And tasty points they are!

Right now we are on the soup diet as nothing else seems to taste good. I got a pot of chicken bone broth going and later I will add in the leaks, mushrooms and all the other veggies. Plenty of ginger and plenty of garlic. I am so glad I did not have to work today.

Sounds good. I’ve been snacking on leftover stuffing from stuffed bell peppers: lentils, butternut squash, cranberries, orange.
