I just watched
Remember, in which an Auschwitz survivor with dementia is convinced to undertake a mission to kill the SS Blockführer who murdered his family at the camp. The convincer is a physically incapacitated but mentally sound former Auschwitz prisoner who realizes that the one with dementia was actually also an SS Blockführer but has forgotten and thinks he's a Jew (an ultimate case of Waldheimer's disease, I suppose).

Some years back an old guy was following his Son in Laguna Hills, CA.
They were on Moulton Parkway and the Son looked back and didn’t see his Father’s Cadillac.
About six hours later they found the old guy on the side of Highway 40 near Needles, CA. He was sitting in his Car that had run out of Gas. I think the right blinker was still on.
