Federal prosecutors in New York have subpoenaed Deutsche Bank for records tied to senior White House adviser Jared Kushner’s family business, The New York Times reported Friday.

Prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York subpoenaed the records from the German financial institution over the past few weeks. It's unclear what records the prosecutors are pursuing, or how closely tied they are to Kushner himself.

Kushner Companies has taken out hundreds of millions of dollars in loans from Deutsche Bank over the years.

Kushner, who is President Trump's son-in-law, stepped down from his position leading the company to join the Trump administration, but still owns part of the business.

“We are unaware of any inquiry directed at Deutsche Bank from the E.D.N.Y. and have no reason to believe there is one,” a Kushner Companies spokeswoman told The Times.

The Times reported that the subpoena appears to be unrelated to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe...

Is this another “dirty” hand-off from the Mueller gang?

Thank you! When I preview the post of a new article, it doesn’t show the title for review. I need to do a better job of manually checking, obviously. Thanks again!

It’s not clear what this is, could even be fake news. But this is somewhat ominous:

Fired US attorney Preet Bharara replaced by longtime friend

http://www.syracuse.com/state/index.ssf/2017/03/preet_bharara_joon_kim.html

NEW YORK (AP) — Preet Bharara, the high-profile federal prosecutor who was fired by President Donald Trump’s administration after refusing to resign, has been replaced temporarily by a longtime friend and top adviser.

Joon H. Kim, 45, who had previously served as Bharara’s chief counsel, criminal division head and top deputy, will be acting U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York until Trump nominates a candidate for the job who can be confirmed by the Senate. That process could take months.

Wasn’t this office the training ground for Loretta, Comey, McCabe, and Mueller?

There’s nothing ominous because there’s nothing there. This is just an endless fishing expedition, to keep this fake “scandal” going through the midterm elections.

No I mean it’s ominous that Trump may not have gotten his appointment in place yet, so this hardcore leftist who’s still in control there can unfairly target Trump, or in this case his family, with fishing expeditions as you say. Per this report from mid-October, it still wasn’t filled yet either:

I don’t know, but I have to wonder if Mueller and Rosenstein are involved with this. There have been many reports stating that Mueller was going to involve NY state officials, under the speculation that Presidential pardons don’t cover charges filed by states. Even if that is true, this is still a federal office, and I would think that any charges from them would still be federal charges, that a pardon could override.

Don’t know about you, but I get this feeling that all of this is just an attempt to get Trump to fire Mueller, and set the impeachment wheels in motion. But Trump is too smart to fire Mueller.

Mueller knows that probing family members would cross Trump’s clearly drawn redline, which is why we read here that New York “prosecutors” are sneakily doing the dirty deed.

Well the kicker is, he can’t fire Mueller directly, only Rosenstein can. The Attorney General could, if he wasn’t recused, but since Sessions is recused only Rosenstein can.

Trump has been reaming both Rosenstein and Sessions out on Twitter, ever since Rosenstein appointed Mueller. Rosenstein did that within 24 hours of Session’s recusal, and has defended Mueller and his staff through every criticism.

So unless Rosenstein pulls the plug on Meuller soon, which I don’t think he will, I do think that Trump will eventually come after Rosenstein. Or if not Rosenstein directly, he will come after Sessions and basically take them out both, or all three if you count Mueller.

If RINO’s in Congress hadn’t threatened Trump previously, he might have already done this. But there is supposedly a very damning report coming out of Congress in January, that may give Trump the political cover he needs to pull the trigger. That’s if Rosenstein/Mueller hasn’t seen the light and started closing up shop.

All guesses of course, but Trump isn’t going to leave Mueller out there indefinitely, if he doesn’t have to. And the overall DOJ, and not just Mueller, is where Trump would be better served making changes.

Exactly. The DOJ, which is supposed to work for the chief law enforcement officer of the land, the President, has gone rogue. There's an old saying, if you're going to try a coup, you better not miss, so they are pulling out all the stops.

There are others who speculate that Sessions is merely (cleverly) playing possum, that a uranium one special prosecutor appointment could be in the offing, once the damning OIG’s report comes out in the spring. We’ll see.

Yup. Mueller has nothing, so we’re going to see ever increasing provocative actions by Mueller in an attempt to get himself fired.
