Don’t fall for former FBI Director James Comey’s latest tweet claiming that “the FBI is and always will be independent.”
In fact, recent reports suggest the FBI now serves as the command center of the Deep State, aptly housed in the J. Edgar Hoover Building.
Working hand in hand with the special counsel’s office, the FBI/Deep State is in high gear. Through constant leaks of confidential or embarrassing materials, unmasking classified information about Trump associates, stonewalling Congressional requests for testimony and information about FBI conduct, selective prosecutions, and the coordination and hiring of high-level and deeply-biased partisans, the Deep State follows its battle plan for impeachment and annihilation of Donald Trump and campaign aides.
It looks like the top echelon of the Deep State includes, at the very least, former FBI director James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, and FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, as well as the many other overt Hillary supporters and Trump haters populating the Special Prosecutor’s Office and the FBI.
It started during the campaign. At the core of the FBI and the Justice Department, a small group was apparently obsessively dedicated to defeating Donald Trump and electing Hillary Clinton as president.
When the voters unexpectedly thwarted their plans, these deep-state holdovers switched their idee fixe to a well-orchestrated and more sinister campaign: to impeach Trump.

It ALWAYS has been that. We just thought it was great because Hoover seemed to be on our side as he did his extra-legal surveillance of Americans.
The Progressive-Globalist cabal has always been there. In hindsight, it is as clear as the back of my hand. We just believed that part of the cabal was our friend.

One thing Trump did was to force the deep state to come out of the shadows and to show itself. Things will never be as easy for them now that they’ve been exposed. The odds are still against it but DJT might actually defeat them.

Many have known that the FBI was evil for a very long time.
Why are these people still in their jobs? Why do they have access to Classified Information? Why do they have computers and research avenues still available? Why are they still being paid? Sedition and/or Treason and no one thinks to close the doors on these people./

What sane person following that multi year fiasco, led by branches of the “deep state” in the BLM and DOJ and the Federal Court system COULD EVER have any confidence in the integrity of these departments of government. The DOJ lawyers in that courtroom and in the other 2 trials simply shot their middle finger at the most basic principals of criminal litigation. The END justified the MEANS to them and they all belong behind bars and far a long time.

We can’t blame Sessions. FR says Sessions is playing multi-dimensional chess and has millions of sealed indictments. My question would be thus:
Sessions refuses to comment on ongoing investigations and/or whether investigations are taking place. Then today he announced investigations into the Bundy-BLM Case and theU1 matters.Thus he is breaking the rules by commenting on the status of a case. It is all CYA. He still hasn’t provided any completed investigations into the numerous Democrap criminal matters.
J. Edgar Hoover was, indeed, on our side. When he was in charge, the FBI rolled up the Axis spy rings during WWII and did a pretty good job against the Communists afterwards.

Sessions is a dud at best. In some people’s fondest imagination he is 007, silently yet ruthlessly closing in on the Deep State. In reality he’s the Deputy AG, doing a few non-critical jobs here and there while swamp-meister Rosenstein runs the show.
Utopian nonsense from Comey. And it's not just him. It's Sessions, it's Wray, they all repeat the same nonsense.
If the FBI is "independent", then who does it answer to? Nobody?
If the FBI doesn't answer to anybody, then it doesn't answer to the American people. And what you have instead is the Deep State, answerable to nobody.
The FBI should answer directly to the DOJ and above that the president. If the FBI misbehaves, then the American people can elect a new president.
That's the Constitutional way.
