Just four days after police in Wasilla arrested Sarah Palin's oldest son Track on domestic violence charges, the former governor of Alaska got a chance to share some good news on Wednesday as she announced her daughter Willow was engaged to be married.
'Good things happen!!! My happiest baby girl Willow and Ricky, last night at Rockefeller Center!!! So, so happy,' wrote Sarah.
Willow will be tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ricky Bailey, who she has been with for the past four years.

My father was 32 when he courted my mother who was 15. That was in 1936. They married the day after she turned 16 that same year. Had their first child in 1940, then three more followed. I’m the baby, and the only one left now. My parents were happily married until my father’s death in 1978.

I was 24 and my wife 23 when we married. That was 32 years ago.
We are still married and so is our daughter, who married at 24.
Its not gonna end well.

I agree with you -- I've heard more than enough of Sarah's family's ups and downs. I would have preferred to have heard things about Vice President Palin's activities for the past eight years, or maybe even President Palin for the latter four.
But hey, I got no room to talk, I clicked on this thread too... :-)
I think the son has drug issues.....and difficulties with PTSD from war in Iraq....hard on a family when violence erupts.
His wife even has a PFA on him ...so he’s in a rough place after beating on his dad Todd.
Looks like momma was shouting out the news. Blame Sarah for the breaking story.
Well..she could have said no and that would have ended it....she didn’t. Can’t make decisions for your adult kids you can only advise...
husband was 19 when he married me (22)...met at church at Christmas and started dating beginning of Feb. He left first week of April for navy. Came back in June from boot camp, stayed 1 week and got engaged. He went back to Virginia for military. Came back 3 days before our wedding that December....kids 3 years later...married 26 years!
Not always easy, sometimes very very hard but has been worth it!
