No Joke! I don’t FB much. But,.... I engaged an accountant acquaintance of mine who seems to have left leaning, liberal political opinions. I would have just continued to lurk. But I noticed that he had posted a few statements and memes on FB over the last few weeks about how bad the tax cuts were. For the rich, hurt the poor, for big corps., etc.
Then, on Monday he noted how misleading the whole tax plan was. He had switched to “nobody is getting anywhere NEAR the tax cuts they think.” There were some comments and in those comments he acknowledged that the rich were getting hosed by this tax plan and that his tax cut was “not enough.” He was actually arguing that the plan should have reduced the taxes he and his family should owe.
I couldn’t resist and posted, “BOB! Welcome to Right! When are you changing your party affiliation and start voting for Republicans?” That seemed to end the entire thread. LMAO!
