The incidents occurred sometime during the night of Dec. 5 as the massive Thomas Fire raged through Ventura County. Oxnard police said two black Suburbans parked in the 3700 block Dunkfirk Drive were broken into and personal belongings were stolen.
The victims, a family who drove to the location, spent the night with friends when jewelry, a guitar, clothing, electronics and personal papers were stolen from their vehicles. About $75,000 worth of property was taken, Oxnard police estimated.
About $10,000 in charges were made on a credit card, leading police to the suspects, authorities said.

I hate to admit it, but CNN was correct. The Trump tax overhaul is already having devastating effects on people, especially our hard-working migrants. CNN predicted that this bill would starve tens of millions of people, and this sudden uptick in thefts is just further proof of the real damage being done by this Russian-backed administration.
California thefts are out of control, it’s starting to be like the Vandals sacking Rome.
We had a fair amount of looting during the Nuns and Tubbs fire. There needs to be much stiffer penalties for this sort of thing. I think the three S’s apply.
