President Donald Trump frequently casts his first year in office as a string of successes and campaign promises fulfilled. But less than a quarter of Americans think Trump has made good on the pledges he made to voters while running for president, according to a new poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
Among Republicans, just half say Trump has kept his promises, which included vows to overhaul his predecessor’s health care law, withdraw the United States from a nuclear accord with Iran and invest millions in new projects to fix the nation’s aging infrastructure. None of those steps have been taken.
“Everything has stalled out,” said Mark Krowski, 37, an independent from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who leans Republican but didn’t vote for Trump last year.
As 2017 comes to a close, the majority of Americans painted a broadly pessimistic view of Trump’s presidency, the nation’s politics and the overall direction of the country. Just three in 10 Americans said the United States is heading in the right direction, and 52 percent said the country is worse off since Trump became president - worrisome signs both for the White House and Republicans heading into a midterm election year where control of Congress will be at stake. …

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
Can we limit posting this kind of b/s from a known lying Leftist outlet other than demoralize the readers? What good does it do? Some have said if they didn’t know any better they would think FR was a Leftist site what with all the pro-Lying Left headlines steaming across. If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a reasonably reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization.
Sadly I believe the poll. Many people are immature and ill informed. They take about 10% as much interest in politics and world affairs as we do here.
They’re waiting to pounce on him if he ever makes the Obama move they lauded, to wit “If Congress doesn’t act, I will”.
The economic numbers say otherwise.

They have confused Pres. Trump’s effort’s to fulfill his campaign promises to Mitch McConnell refusing to bring up the House’s bills sent to the Senate and rejecting efforts to repeal ACA . About 300 at last count. I’l bet they will find some way to torpedo the tax bill.
