There’s a reason why Trump hired him. Sekulow is a heavyweight. He started his career as a tax trial attorney for the IRS. He’s argued cases before the Supreme Court a dozen times.
It might be better for Sessions to appoint a special prosecutor since Sessions has recused himself from the Russia issue, and this would deflect from the 100% certain-to-happen slander that Trump doing so would be retaliatory or even obstruction (as ridiculous as that is, because we know that’s exactly what the Democrats and leftwing media will say).
Sessions is refusing to step down and refusing to do his job.
If he hasn’t un-recused himself in the face of this russian collusion hoax, he’s certainly not going to appoint another special counsel to investigate the O’muslim treason regime. He’s compromised.
Trump needs more competent representation.
