FULL TITLE: University of New Mexico and Late-Term Abortion Clinic Face FBI Investigation for Selling Aborted Baby Parts

A late-term abortion facility and the University of New Mexico may be facing a criminal investigation by the FBI for their handling of aborted baby body parts.

U.S. Rep. Steve Pearce, a Republican from New Mexico, received a letter from Steven E. Boyd, assistant attorney general for legislative affairs in Washington, on Friday with the confirmation.

While Boyd did not definitively confirm a criminal investigation, he said the FBI is looking into the information uncovered by the U.S. House Select Panel on Infant Lives about the University of New Mexico and Southwestern Women’s Options, a late-term abortion facility in Albuquerque.

“We can confirm that the Criminal Investigative Division of the FBI Headquarters has received this information, including the two referrals made to the New Mexico Attorney General regarding practices of the UNM HSC and SWO, and sent the materials to the relevant FBI field offices for review and any action deemed appropriate,” Boyd wrote.

University of New Mexico researchers have had an on-going relationship with abortionist Curtis Boyd and his Southwestern Women’s Options, one of the last late-term abortion facilities in the country.

In the summer of 2016, a U.S. Congressional panel sent evidence to the New Mexico attorney general indicating that the university and late-term abortion facility may have broken a state law involving the use of aborted babies’ body parts. The panel also found evidence that the abortion facility also may have violated informed consent laws and that none of the facility’s staff were trained on what to do if a baby survives an abortion.

Elisa Martinez, executive director of New Mexico Alliance for Life, applauded the move this week.

“These are serious violations of the law where baby body parts were treated like commodities, women were deceived for years and nobody has held the abortion industry accountable, including New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas,” Martinez said. “It’s time for women, babies, and taxpayers to receive some justice and lawbreakers to be held accountable, whether they are abortionists, researchers or university officials, no one is above the law.”

Here’s more from the report:

Pearce, who has raised questions about UNMHSC’s protocols for fetal tissue research over the past two years, asked the Justice Department in September and November for updates on the criminal referrals made by the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives.

“I applaud today’s action by Attorney General Jeff Sessions to take up the criminal referrals in New Mexico regarding violations made by the University of New Mexico and the Southwestern Women’s Options,” Pearce wrote on his Facebook page after receiving Boyd’s letter on Friday. “Even more, DOJ will be investigating all fifteen criminal referrals that were sent out but not acted upon at the conclusion of the Select Panel’s investigation.”

Boyd also last week asked the Senate Judiciary Committee for “unredacted documents underlying a 2016 investigation by the committee into the exchange of human fetal tissue that had been donated for research by women who get abortions,” according to a New York Times report.

Among the most disturbing finds, the U.S. House panel uncovered evidence that the Albuquerque abortion facility may have provided aborted babies’ brains to a summer camp for youth at the University of New Mexico.

In 2016 the Albuquerque Journal reviewed the evidence uncovered by the Congressional panel and found notes indicating a flippant, even celebratory attitude from university lab technicians as they collected aborted babies’ body parts for the university’s Sciences Center.

The lab technician “wrote in his notebook ‘whoo hoo!!’ when the [abortion] clinic was able to provide a ‘whole pancreas’ of a fetus for another project and drew a frowning face next to an entry that showed that another fetal pancreas was not intact,” according to the report.

The lab technician’s notebook also contained gruesome details about the babies who were aborted, including an “intact” aborted infant who was 30.5 weeks along – old enough to survive outside the womb — and at least 20 aborted babies who were past the 20-week gestation mark.

The evidence came from a larger Congressional investigation that formed after a series of undercover videos revealed Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities could be selling aborted babies’ body parts in violation of the law.

Late last week, the Department of Justice also confirmed that it is investigating the abortion chain Planned Parenthood.

Just a day later, a California district attorney announced that two biotech companies that partnered with abortion facilities admitted to liability for violating state and federal laws prohibiting the sale of aborted babies’ body parts. Both companies are being shut down.

I haven’t kept up with this. Who buys this “product” for “research, etc.”? Wouldn’t they be breaking some law also?

I'm guessing baby ‘body parts’ go into cosmetics for global elites and stew pots for American liberal elite perverts...just a guess...Too many 'parts' for legal research. Doesn't add up... Didn't Podesta's bother have 'torture art' in his home?
