Hugh Hewitt is predicting that Democrat Doug Jones will defeat Roy Moore tomorrow. I used to listen to Hewitt's radio program on a regular basis but he's gotten increasingly pretentious and he's part of the never Trump crowd. He's citing the apparent lack of Roy Moore signs in Alabama signs but isn't acknowledging that Jones is getting more financial support from the Democrat party. Jones is supported by the media while they attack Moore 24/7. Looking forward to Hewitt being proven wrong again. He said Trump should have dropped out of the race in 2016 because he couldn't win.

A is proven, while B is not and smells like a political hit job. Moore's been elected as the states top judge (twice, iirc) and will be again. Trump and his agenda will pull Roy to a substantial win. A vote for Jones tears at all they've voted for in DJT. Won't happen.

I wouldn’t bet against a big win. Speaking for “social desirability”, the Wilder affect, etc.....recall Luntz’s interviews this weekend in B-ham in which citizens expressed no qualms about voting for Moore. They certainly aren’t embarrassed about their votes. Luntz (working for CBS) was gobsmacked.
He’s for anyone but Trump.. and evidently Moore also. He’s also a know-it-all.

What’s worse is Hewitt has been insisting Roy Moore will never be seated.

Seems times have changed and Hewitt has changed with them .
They say where you stand depends on where you sit and Hewitt moved to D.C. a few years ago

Moore’s election does create problems for Mitch & Co, which is why Hewitt opposes Moore. The Senate will be faced with the option of censuring or removing a duly elected Senator, which is a very bad look. I predict a censure.

I wish I could afford to ‘monitor’ the hiways into Alabama to watch the buses hauling in the DEM voters that might well make the ‘Dem Miracle’ happen....

I would love to see a list of issues where he was wrong. I used to listen to him by default, since he came on the radio soon after Rush.
Over time his positions on important issues and the absurd reasons he gave for his position relegated him to has-been status --- permanently.
