Same chemical affects occur while scuba diving

Did not know That? Kinda much more deadly.
I have a terrible problem falling asleep at the wheel when driving. Oddly enough for some reason I do not when flying, even late at night with nobody else in the plane. If I get a courtesy car at the airport I fall asleep at the wheel in ten minutes. Strange how environment effects your metabolism.

I was flying Coach once with a passenger who demanded to be upgraded to First, saying he always flew First and how dare they put him in Coach. This went on and on and the flight attendants got really annoyed. Then he started to demand free drinks because he always flew First and the booze is free in First. I thought they would divert us because of him and it was a relief to finally land.Sorry, jalisco555, if I had known that a fellow-FReeper was onboard, I would have been more circumspect!
(But I really do always fly First!)

>>...the unplanned stopover likely amounted to several tens of thousands of euros... << WTH does that mean? This is a common English expression (are you not a native speaker?).
A sum between 2,000 / 3,000 and 10,000 might be described as "several thousand." A sum between, say, 20,000 / 30,000 and 100,000 could therefore be described as "several tens of thousands."
Thus: "Neanderthals became extinct several tens of thousands of years ago. Specifically, they died out about 45,000 years ago."
I, personally, would probably say "scores of thousands."
You're welcome!

Oh, so that was you. OK, you’re forgiven. We all got a good laugh out of you.
