NEW YORK - Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield has been named the winner of the 2017 Heisman Memorial Trophy. Mayfield is the sixth recipient of the Heisman Trophy in OU history and the first since Sam Bradford in 2008.

He deserved it, but his draft numbers will go down due to his unsportsmanlike antics against Kansas fans.
Also his play-off game will suffer due to all the hoopla a Heisman winner has to go through before the big games. The trophy has been the ruin of many a poor boy.
