It’s true! Did you see the news this week that Facebook has a new messaging app for 6- to 12-year-old children? I am furious! This is so immoral! Every study over the last ten years correlates social media use negatively with mental and physical health outcomes, and the younger the participant, the worse the outcomes.
“Just say no if you don’t like it,” they tell parents, but then they make it almost impossible to control it without moving to the farm and living in the 19th century. Unless you have those mythical children who hear, “No,” and comply, 100%, you’re constantly fighting with this garbage.
I hope they rot in hell. I honestly 100% hope they rot in hell.
Facebook is a disaster waiting to happen to anybody and, especially any family with children old enough to understand how to get onto it. Kids love to talk and cannot keep their mouths shut. The more potentially dangerous a family secret is, the more likely they are to post about it. They’re also likely to post stuff about themselves, including sex pictures, that they will grow up to be horrified by. I use it only to see other’s pages and never post anything myself.
Come on. You pray for these soul-murderers every time you say the “O My Jesus” prayer at the end of your rosary decade.
You don’t have to feel it, tc. You might just ask Mary to pray it for you, which us what I do when I can’t squeeze out even one MCG of compassion on my own.
