This skews the entire dataset. It makes no sense to include cities in a county calculation. Not that DC isn’t sucking wealth from everywhere else; but these rankings are completely invalid.

I have 2 cousins who live in Falls Church City and know that that isn't a county.

Cities in Virginia are independent entities, they’re part of no county.

In Virginia, independent cities are de facto counties. They have the same powers and responsibilities as a county.
