Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been listening to Metallica since 1986.
Saw them live in 1994 in Otay Mesa near San Diego.
Then........they released Load.
I got used to it lol. Load and Re-Load are OK. It’s not like you’re listening to Madonna or Lady Gaga where you take a cold shower afterwards.

I thought they crapped the bed with “... And Justice For All” ... it was basically a rehash of “Ride” and “Master”
featuring only vocals and drums :-).
That band mostly died with Cliff Burton (to me anyway) ... I do like their latest album for the nostalgia factor, but I can’t see how, of all of the talent out there in the 80s, they became *the* premier metal band from the USA.
