LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Steve Wyard thought he knew what sexual harassment looked like: a put-out-or-lose-your-job overture. Now he's not so sure.
"Have we gotten to the point now where men can't say, 'That's a nice dress' or 'Did you do something with your hair?'" says the veteran sales associate for a Los Angeles company. "The potential problem is you can't even feel safe saying, 'Good morning' anymore."
But he says his wife, the CEO at a health maintenance organization, got a complaint from a woman just last month who believed a fellow employee was getting too personal. "It turned out the guy thought he was just saying, 'What did you do over the weekend?'" Wyard recalls his wife telling him.

Sure is OK.
However, one must only hug REAL women, not liberal ones.
Memo to Fox....make sure NOT to tell Shepard Smith his dress looks OK.
i am not liberal and don’t want any man hugging me that is not my husband or a son in law. No thanks.
Good morning is perfectly fine. Hugs - not OK unless she asks for one. This has been the case in the private workplace for quite a while. I guess liberals thought they were exempt.
Men and women should wear policecams during any interaction.
How about “Your hair looks nice?”
The only women I hug are my wife and my relatives, longtime friends, and some of the older ladies at church. I would never hug a co-worker.
I think it would be unusual. Nevertheless, someone you consider a work-friend, someone you haven’t seen in a while, someone who is going away. Even then, has to be a bit of a stand-off hug. No chest contact. But what the hell, that’s just the way guys hug anyway. Little reach around and pat on the back a couple times.
In thirty years of work situation, I think I hugged a woman once, possibly twice. Once on the death of a coworker and, if I recall, when a good friend was leaving the job.
There’s a non-verbal, body language discussion about whether a hug is appropriate or not. Hugger one opens his/her arms and cocks his/her head. Hugger two either steps into the hug, or not. If not, Hugger one drops his hands and no more is said.
I am sure there are lots of situational variations, but you can be pretty safe with that one.
If you only treat them as a worker and refuse to interact with them in any kind of personal way, the chicks will pop a critical vessel.
Yup. The more I know people, the better I like dogs.
Bodycam/Entry Badge combination! That’s what we need these days.
Men should not be allowed in the workplace. It is just too dangerous.

I’ll continue to take my chances!

Complementing the wrong female can now be sexual harassment. Is it any wonder why internet porn has grown in popularity?
“I’ll bet you get slapped a lot.”
“Yeah, but I get ....”
With everything going on today it’s best not to. I wonder how long it is going to be before men start acusess women of sexual harassment?
