I noticed I no longer have the users post that appear under each post on the "comments" tab. Is everyone having this issue. Maybe I inadvertantly changed an account setting?

I see the title, date, time, x of y, from and to info. Just like always for me.
still learning
Thanks,
I see the title, date, time, x of y, from and to info, but no user comment. I’m not sure what happened for me to lose the user comments.
When viewing theComments tab, you can choose from Brevity, Headers or Text. You must have Brevity selected. Switch to Text.
I’ve had this too, and it seems to depend on the browser being used. Shows up on some of my computers, not others.
Solution is to find the light blue horizontal line about half way down on the first page (under the red horizontal thermometer of contributions), and on the very far right you have the choice: Brevity: « Headers » | Text
Click on “Text”.
Thanks BykrBayb, that was it!

That Brevity tab got me a couple days ago, too.
I thought it was my Firefox-based browser, but have had similar ‘changes’ with a Linux browser. Sometimes when I refresh the screen, either the Articles-Activity-Comments tab changes and/or the Brevity: Headings-Text tab changes.
This has been going on for a couple of months.
I formerly used an IE-based browser (I still use it on my laptop and does not seem to be subjected to such automatic changes), but FR seems to no longer support log-ins with IE/IE-based browsers.
Youre welcome. I like to view it that way sometimes, and I had the same problem once. Took me forever to figure out what Id done wrong.
I just upgraded my Firefox browser on a different computer, maybe that was the cause?
Disappointing!
You got a solution before any snarky comments were posted; FreeRepublic.com is slowing down.
By the way; “Are you logged in?”
I was a expecting to get hammered! I’m sure I won’t be let down next time...
I do not have that problem but when I select the ‘Activity’ tab, I get the error “Your query returned no results.” It has been like this for a while so if anyone knows why, thanks.

Actually, it's been like that for at least a decade ;-)
