FAMILIES of US military should leave South Korea because war between America and Pyongyang is getting close, according to a senior US Senator and ex-Air Force Colonel.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has warned that the rising tensions between the the US and Kim Jong-uns corrupt regime means preparations for war need to be taken.
The member of the Senate Armed Services Committee warned the US was running out of time to prepare itself for war when speaking on CBS yesterday.
He said: I want the Pentagon to stop sending dependents and I think its now time to start moving American dependents out of South Korea.
We're getting close to a military conflict because North Korea is marching toward marrying up the technology of an ICBM with a nuclear weapon on top that can not only get to America, but deliver the weapon.

Wouldn't be the first time.
Not sure if I would appreciate Sen Linsey spouting off like this if I were in charge of the Army Logistics, responsible for getting these people out.
And where would they go? Just drop them in Tokyo? Or bring them to Guam?
That is a pretty significant group to move around. And as soon as we start doing this, the ROK citizens will start going nuts.
Thanks Linsey...
This looks like a job for the State Dept. Other than the Pentagon, they issue the orders to evacuate or to shelter-in-place, right? It’s not all just military people over there, and what does Homeland Security have to do with US citizens in S. Korea? I don’t trust Lindsey Graham(cracker) and why is there no mention of the State Department and Secretary Tillerson in the article?
This can’t be the first time anyone has thought about it. I know if I was there and this was looming over the news every day (for how long now?) I’d be pushing for some answers. What’s the plan? Are we on our own?
See the 8th Army webpage discussing this.
No matter how well-advised or looney-tunes KJU is, what youve asked is the operative question. And that should not occur to anyone belatedly or as if by surprise.
Crazy
This is one senator
A compromised senator
There’s an evacuation plan already in place. Not sure what they call it, when I was stationed in Germany it was called NEO, Noncombatant Evacuation Operation.
Since when is Linseed Graham in the loop as to when military operations will begin?
I think its wise to be prepared.but Im sure that the 8th Army and the US forces Korea will already be prepping their subordinate Command about the potential activation of hostilities.
Its the same.
Im no longer in the Army, but friends of mine who still are and deployed to Korea are telling us state side that US Command has been urging defendants to leave for months now.
Many are speculating they how to effect it quietly and without raising international alarms
They would have to go to Tokyo or perhaps Hawaii.
Guam would tip over.
Certain questions may just raise further questions, however unanswered they go. The lack of an answer could be an indicator of having hit a home run.
US families urged to EVACUATE: The first major sign that a real war is coming soon ...
Of the military does not require an evacuation, then the soldier has to pay for it. As of this morning at 0900, not such decision has been made. I am watching this issue as close as I can.
Well, if you balanced them “just right” you could probably spread them out. Of course, its hard to keep them in one place, so the risk of a tip over is real.
Lived for 2 years under *NEO* in the M.E.; had to have a *go* bag ready; once you got word for evac, you had 60 minutes to be ready, B4 pick-up.
I always felt sorry for families with young children.
Always grateful that it never had to be implemented.
Every time NK goes on Alert, it costs them money, food and fuel. They can’t do it indefinitely. Eventually, they’ll get tried of being on Alert and let down their guard.
Korea used to be an unaccompanied tour. The only wives you’d see were Koreans. Has this changed?
Can’t take them to Guam.
It might tip over.....................
