I don’t know his childhood history. He may have been screwed up as a kid. Does that excuse him as an adult gaining control over others, and ordering them to do what took place?
I’m not immune to the idea he was mentally deranged. None the less, for what he did, he needed to be locked up for the rest of his life. This guy could not have functioned on the street.
I think he should have been given the death penalty. He was sentenced to it, but when the death penalty was done away with temporarily, his death sentence was commuted to life with the possibility of parole.
For the life of me, I never fully understood that.
Life, at least it was something firm. Possibility of parole? Seriously?
No way.
No one mentioned excusing him.
