It's not exactly a "pet movie," but if you like dogs in movies, you MUST see "Corporal Levaey" with Kate Mara. Story about a Marine enlistee who's a screw up, and given dog kennel cleaning duty as a punishment. She eventually becomes a dog handler. Awesome movie.
