Full Title: Petition to immediately disclose names of elected officials that have used our tax dollars to pay off victims
We, the American taxpayer learned of at least, 15 million TAX dollars that have been used for payoffs from elected officials to victims of sexual harassment . According to the Congressional Office of Compliance, between 1997 and 2014, hundreds of women have been paid $15.2 million in total in awards and settlements for Capitol Hill workplace violations." As per the freedom of information act, WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF ALL NAMES, ALL CHARGES, ALL AMOUNTS PAID TO VICTIMS THROUGH THIS FUND and TERMINATION OF ALL FUTURE PAYOUTS USING TAXPAYER MONEY. We also demand each person that used this fund, pay it back in full, back to the taxpayers. Using tax payer dollars to pay off (settle) personal sexual harassment claims are considered a gross misdemeanor of taxpayer funds
Only thing I see wrong is saying “women” when after all, it could be women, men, girls, boys.
Goats, sheep... Potential victims are endless.
We want all the names and the allegations that resulted in the loss of taxpayer money and we want it NOW!~! There is no excuse for this.
It’ official government business. Therefore it should be released immediately. One of those Larry Klayman types to sue under the FOI Act. They will stall and then hope the issue dies down. Playing on our short memories. I say release the info just b4 November elections.
For sure - some of the people keeping the list are ON the list
Names AND full reimbursement from the scumbags who used taxpayer money. How in the hell is this not a crime? Criminal charges for all involved and ejection from their seat, loss of pension and maybe a good ass wuppin for good measure.
This is the House Banking Scandal 2.0.
Indeed!
Everyone knows the halls of congress have been crawling with predatory queens and perverts for a long time.
(NOT A PHOTOSHOP)
Because what is a "crime" is defined by the law, and the guilty parties in this case are the ones who make the laws.
We have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
What we will see from now on is the further growth of the tip, but we shall never see the entire iceberg. It has been kept hidden for so long and it will remain hidden.
The White House is in no position to demand from congress.
Congress needs to answer to the public
Why the sudden concern with the integrity of Congress when we allowed this individual to be a member of that body? Are we perhaps feeling some guilt of the choices we have made?
I am sure the petition will amount to nothing congress does not care what we little people think.
At a minimum I would like to see someone sponsor a bill to release this information. Lets see who supports it and who does not.
Surely there is one congressmen left with some integrity.
If the IRS weren't full of crooked Deep Staters, I;d immediately demand an audit of every member of congress suspected of sexual harassment to determine if they used OUR tax dollars to silences the victims.
It’s almost torches and pitchforks time.
Petition? Print on a nice roll of four ply and it might be useful for something. Otherwise, waste of time. Tell me one time when a petition accomplished anything in Congress?
