NEW YORK -- Actress Ann Wedgeworth, who gained fame on film and Broadway before taking on the role of a flirty divorcee on "Three's Company," has died at age 83.
Wedgeworth died Thursday in the New York area after a long illness, her daughter Dianna Martin said.
Wedgeworth landed her first Broadway role in the 1958 comedy "Make a Million" and continued to take on stage roles for decades. She won the 1978 Tony award for best featured actress in a play for her performance in Neil Simon's "Chapter Two."

She was roll on the floor funny as Lana
She was on the daytime soap ‘Another World’.
Great actress.
Uhhhhh, wait a minute. I never watched Three's Company. Any of you homos try saying I watched Three's Company, I'll kill you.
“Dang it! First the lead guitarist and co-founder of AC/DC and now the flirty divorcee from Three’s Company!”
And Mel Tillis. That’s three.
Guess David Cassidy starts the next batch.
Lighten up, Francis.
Next in the on-deck circle are Charles Manson and David Cassidy.
david cassidy already struck out..
“Next in the on-deck circle are Charles Manson and David Cassidy.”

Janet was hotter than Chrissy, Cindy or Terri.
And usually way more sensible.
Unless I misunderstood your comment, Cassidy appears to still be alive but not by much. Useless trivia: David Cassidy appeared as a contestant on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” which aired in 2011. He was the first one fired.
he -passed away today
I’m not disagreeing but I’ve seen nothing official. Even his fan site just says he’s “very sick” per his son. Wikipedia is usually the first ones to post anything official and, as of now, they don’t have it.
Did she also appear in ‘Evening Shade’ as Charles Durnning’s ditzy wife? That is one of my favorite old shows, with Burt Reynolds & Marilou Henner.
