Oh, shibumi, those images are incredible. Comfortable is my style.
I’m not so sure that the site name matters as much as it once did, so long as they’re minding their search engine rankings. http://www.bubble.com is a Google site. http://www.bubble.net is available, as is http://www.bubble.co, but honestly how many people even think to use anything but “.com” if they’re just guessing a website URL or going from memory?
It’s a whole resort.
I hear there are several others.
This is just the most prominent one.
Looks really cool, but the air in the bubble would go really stale really quickly and that always makes me nauseous. They wrote that “the tent works on an over-pressurised system where air is constantly refilling the tent via a turbine that is battery and solar operated. This turbine acts as an air conditioner and keeps the temperature comfortable no matter the weather.” But I’m skeptical. The air out on the deck would be a lot better.
Plus the constant hum of the “turbine” would be annoying out in that solitude where you want to enjoy the quiet.
Too bad they could figure out how to add opening windows to the structure. But it would probably deflate if you opened a window.
My dentist wanted me to build him a website, but he took the name restorteeth, with restore missing its ‘e’. Always thought that was a mistake.
He’d have been better off using the name of his practice, made up names only work if you’re going to make a brand out of it and spend the money to create name recognition.

Chelsea’s kind of people hold up banks wkith their hands...

I love fresh air, too. The hard thing would be overnight. During the day you could leave the door open long enough to get some air change. Do fans help you even if the air is the same?
Agreed.
Kind of neat.
I definitely would like to explore camping this way. Those green canvas tents are so un-romantic. I can imagine taking a female to one of these completely clear tents and just looking up at the stars on a cold, wintry night as we bask in the warmth within.
I went camping ONCE. In upper Maine bear country. Elderly mother along. Too terrified to sleep. Mother slept soundly the whole time. I tried putting the tent up on the front patio and made it for a whole two hours before running back inside. Love the idea of the great outdoors. Just too chicken to handle it.
Too cool...
“Aurora Borealis makes for a great show”
By the proximity of those huts, I’m sure there are a lot of ‘shows’
Lol! Can relate to that! As much as I love the great outdoors and camping, I sometimes find it difficult to sleep at night too. You hear all sorts of strange sounds at night in the woods. ‘Things’ moving around and so forth. Could have something to do with all those ‘slasher’ movies I watched in my younger days.
That's exactly who I was talking about -
Aurora Borealis and her sisters LuMina and AssTral.
They appear nightly right after their last show
at The Hotel Klaus in downtown Helsinki.
Suggestion: Don’t watch Criminal Minds before your next camping trip.
lolol
