The biggest problem I see would be preventing condensation on the inside of the bubble due to the cold outside. I am really curious about how they deal with condensation.

I am really curious about how they deal with condensation. Perhaps like the defroster in one's car, they keep a constant flow of warm air moving across the surface. This air doesn't have time enough to cool off. It would also help if the air had some moisture removed first.
