Rumor has it that Iger has been very indecisive in regards to who will take over, and we’ve got at most two years for him to decide to run for office (since 2019 is when the Democrat primaries/runoffs are scheduled to be held for the 2020 election cycle). It would require a whole lot of luck, true, but it’s the best we’ve got right now.
