Or if you prefer the older Ilya, NCIS's Ducky for Julia Ecklar's "He's Dead, Jim."
I love David McCallum at any age.

He was so stinking cute.
I’m willing to bet he smelled as good as he looked.
Funniest line ever on NCIS...”So Gibbs, what was Ducky like when he was younger?”
Gibbs: “He was a lot like Illya Kuryakin.”
YES! I remembered they mentioned it but didn’t remember exactly what they said. Good memory! There was a picture of Ilya on a mantle or table in his mother’s home, I remember.
I passed McCallum in 1969 while I was riding my bicycle to Glendale Jr. College, in Glendale, California. He was on the street getting into a car. That was the young version. (And so was I! :)
First sympathetic portrayal of any Russian on American TV. The next one I can remember was (Pavel Andreievich) Chekov on Star Trek. And he was living in the 23rd century.
I lived in Palos Verdes that year and remember visiting in Glendale. DARN!! Bet it made your day.
I never thought of that. And it was completely sympathetic. He was a great character. Good catch.
Was a lieutenant (leftenant?) in the British army, currently a naturalized US citizen, and (gasp!) a republican.

That was just ducky! LOL!
Great...I gave it a Thumbs Up! :-)
Oh, thank you ML. Loved your pun.
9:00 tonight on PBS...Leonard Nimoy!
(((I hope you get this in time))))
Channel 2 Boston, for Eastern MA.
(sigh) Just watched the Leonard Nimoy program. Most of it was about smoking and COPD.
It would have been nice if the Remembrance had been more about HIM and not about his disease.
Oh Well (I like OUR tribute better!)
