A mistrial was declared Friday in the trial of Jacob Carrizal, the first biker from the May 2015 Twin Peaks shootout to stand trial.

Jurors told 54th State District Judge Matt Johnson they were hopelessly deadlocked after more than 14 hours of deliberation, forcing the judge to declare a mistrial at about 2:50 p.m.

In a note to Johnson, the jury initially reported they had reached a unanimous vote on one count, but that vote later changed. The initial decision was for not guilty on the first count, the source said.

After more than 2 years with 155 charged waiting for trial, the first trial ended in a Hung Jury.

The case "chosen by prosecution" to be tried first? Ended with no unanimous votes. (at one point it is said to have been unanimous on the first question, not guilty on the conspiracy charge)

These trials need a change of venue to west of the Pecos.

The trial has been a total circus from the beginning.

I doubt there will be a single conviction on the conspiracy charge. (I’m not an attorney)

This trial is not about what it has been presented to be about. It is an exercise in using high tech analysis to find conspiracy where there is none. And use that “conspiracy” to bargain plea deals to get those who committed no crime to admit to something to get their lives back.

Those guilty of murder? Are dead.

So how does sanity come back to the court system?

Not sure.

The criminal justice system shows itself to be criminal in cases like this.......

"Those guilty of murder? Are dead."

Sorting that out would seem to be the most important part of the investigation. I'm not sure if the cops executed the last of the biker murderers, but with all of the data available one would think that would be the most important issue.

Many that are directed by Fed Alphabet agencies do.

Local courts were put in the constitution for a good reason.

I’m not blaming the Texas HWY Patrol officers.

Problem lies much higher up the food chain.

Isn’t one thing still unknown? How many bullets the cops fired and who they kulled? I’ve followed this a bit and have not heard this at all...

I vaguely thought that I read that one Waco PD officer was responsible for taking out four bikers.

I do not expect the “simple truth” to be revealed by the FBI or DOJ, in this or a couple of other cases. It is about the agenda, not the law.

According to my readings about the ballistics evidence, the Waco Justice System did not ask for, nor receive, any details on the .38 spl/.357/etc. rounds fired.

Just an oversight I suppose...

Coupled with the recommendation you'd offered;

almost sounds like you were recommending Forces of Po-Po take the extra-judicial route to Justice, Texas, somewhere out far West of Waco, in those lands where the tumblin' tumble weeds (Russian thistle) and skulls of dead cows romantically represent what those lands have to offer.

Oh, ye of little faith that more proper Justice can exist, and maybe even be found in that Jerusalem-On-The-Brazos that is Waco (as Jim Parks enjoys describing it).

Are you a gang supporter? Love you some pedophile, drug-dealing murderers, do you?

Speaking of Justice, Just you Wait 'till Princess Puddles and Strac6 hear about this. I'm sure they'll also find your lack of faith (faith in the leadership of the Empire) disturbing...

Thanks for the tip..

I was unaware of this Jim Parks, but luckily guessed after a bit that he was radioized in some fashion:

It's a interesting turn of events to have a gal with that name assisting him.

Parks has a history of writing about people named Feazell, I think...

I'm not going to point to just where Parks did so, but some of that sort of past writing history is available associated with what's referred to as the Lake Waco Murders that occurred in 1982 and had years of twist & turn fall-out after that. Not written by Parks, but check the long-winded Texas Monthly article on 'Lake Waco Murders'. wow

But here's Jim;

"Kali tragus is native to Eurasia, but in the 1870s, it appeared in South Dakota when flaxseed from Russia turned out to be contaminated with Kali seeds. Although it is the best-known of this group of weeds, and was at first thought to be a single well-defined species, it now is known to have included more than one species plus some hybrids. This has led to taxonomic confusion in dealing with species in the genera Salsola and Kali in America. Recent studies show that the population that once was assigned to Salsola tragus really includes three or more morphologically similar species that differ in flower size and shape. The group was widely assigned to the family Chenopodiaceae, but the Chenopodiaceae – including the genera Kali and Salsola – have since been included in the Amaranthaceae. They now are allocated to the Salsoloideae, a subfamily of the Amaranthaceae.[3]"

So. Dak.?

Must be something in the water there. Too many crazy incidents.

I guess I could say the same thing about DC though...
