Ace beer, NC early ‘70s. Ace came in a gallon jug. Gawd awful stuff. But it was dirt cheap and we were poor college students (disposable income hadn’t been conceptualized yet). I held some part time work on campus... which was essentially beer money.

It ruined me. To this day I only value (and drink) cheap beer. The cheaper the better.
