“Bad conduct disharge (aka the Big Chicken Dinner) is equivalent of a felony if my memory serves me well.”

That is a Dishonorable Discharge.

Isn’t it no firearms for a DD, but not a BCD?

Negative, a dishonorable and a bad conduct are separate discharges. The DD is worse than a BCD.

My worthless brother-in-law (If you know him he probably owes you money) was up for a BCD, but his dad, a disabled vet, and a state congressman managed to get him discharged with a “Medical” discharge.

He has been sucking that VA government tit ever since.

“That is a Dishonorable Discharge.”

Are you sure?

If that’s the case, than it would have been illegal for him to have purchased or to be in possession of firearms. If in fact it was a ‘Dishonorable Discharge?

I do not believe a ‘Bad Conduct’ discharge disallows weapons ownership.
