I spent two years in Hollywood back in the 70s. There was a Catholic Church in which people like Pat O’Brien was an usher. My mother loved Hollywood! You’d see people like Cher at the supermarket - it wasn’t unusual.
This does seem like narcissism. Women who are losing their importance need validation. I think a lot of it has to do with their anger over the Trump election, as they see themselves irrelevant and vulnerable.
On another thread I also compared this to borderline personality disorder, where the afflicted constantly flies into rages and attacks family & friends, whom at the same time she desperately needs. She's like a loaded gun.
I hope these women drive Hollywood away far enough to lose a lot of financial supporters for liberal causes.
