I watched the World Series last night. Everybody, including players, stood for the National Anthem with their caps over their hearts. Were there some other sports on TV yesterday?
Hockey too. The boys stand up and loud applause is heard after the anthem.
Same here. I have watched the anthem proceedings carefully, and not a single player or coach protested in any way. MLB is being quite clever with their choice of singers for the anthem, too. Quite a bit of diversity.
Look at the ethnic makeup of the pro football teams and that of the baseball teams. Enough said.
