“DGD and I were at the store, and she decided to treat the shopping cart as Rocket. We patted our way up and down the aisles, (pat pat pat pat blast off!!) and she was happy as can be, telling us to go ‘allegro’ and all that.
But as we approached the popsicle aisle and she started yelling ‘ritardando, ritardando’, I thought I’d die. 2 women in the frozen food aisle gave me the side eye, especially since DGD says it more like ‘retardo’.
I didn’t think the store manager would let me get on the loud speaker and explain the Little Einsteins, musical terms, and all that to the other shoppers”.
Only Italians can get that...................A+!............
