Hard to believe that Maddie Prior turned 70 this August. Her website is a few years out of date but one used to be able to book a stay at her farmhouse & take classes on British folk music from Maddie herself !

And finally, although not folk-rock, while I was hunting the links to these videos I found a Youtube posting of a video that I spent 20 years looking for and finally won on an auction on the Japanese version of E-Bay. Cost me a couple hundred dollars for the Laserdisk & I consider it well worth it. Video quality here is less than optimal but what a great performance - SKY at Westminster Abbey (looks like it was recorded from videotape...
