The names Pink and Floyd came from two of Syd Barretts favourite Carolina bluesmen, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council,
I can’t believe it but the beatles, pink floyd, all the old groups are still popular!!, Just goes to show how poor the music of today is.

Speaking of Chicago...this Russian tribute band does a good job of covering them
They’re excellent! Thanks.
Rejoins are always fun to do. IMHO, Rush has some of the best.
I had to stop the list up in reply 62. It was getting out of hand. I could have been very long. Good for us though. Lots to like back then and now. The revival makes me feel good. MAGA. Yes!
> What about Steeleye Span?
Hard to believe that Maddie Prior turned 70 this August. Her website is a few years out of date but one used to be able to book a stay at her farmhouse & take classes on British folk music from Maddie herself !
Might I recommend a few Ethno-Folk-Rock fusion bands I’ve found over the years...
I’m guessing you probably are a fan of Gryphon. I’ve found the odd video of their recent reunions on Youtube but from the quality of this video I’m guessing that there is an HD DVD floating around somewhere. I’ve looked but no luck finding it so far...

And finally, although not folk-rock, while I was hunting the links to these videos I found a Youtube posting of a video that I spent 20 years looking for and finally won on an auction on the Japanese version of E-Bay. Cost me a couple hundred dollars for the Laserdisk & I consider it well worth it. Video quality here is less than optimal but what a great performance - SKY at Westminster Abbey (looks like it was recorded from videotape...

Thanks Red Badger. A band from Frankenmuth, kind of novel, it's a small place, and revolves around the Christmas store.
My daughter, 30, ‘discovered’ The Beatles, and all the old ‘fogey’ music.
Now it’s all she listens to..................
Thanks bitt!
Ahh, that’s heartwarming news! I think it’s great when our children discover cool things from their parents’ generation. We aren’t so bad, you know.
