That's one of the reason my husband likes them and wanted the Instant Pot, too - don't have to heat up the whole oven.

(I don't really care about that; we have 'thermostat wars', and I like the oven going, on Winter nights ;-)

I think I’d like an instant pot but I have a stovetop pressure cooker already and too much stuff in my kitchen.

When my wife was pregnant decades ago, I would walk down the hall and she would yell, "Don't you touch that thermostat!"

I'm older and appreciate warmth more than she does and I still get yelled at when I walk down the hall but, we were raised at different latitudes. Cuba for me and Iowa for her. Remember Ricky and Lucy?

Crockpots remind me of Polish weddings. Good food! Yum!
