FULL TITLE: 'I have done absolutely nothing wrong': Four-time Iditarod winner speaks out after being accused of DOPING his dogs in preparation for the annual long-distance sled race
Four-time Iditarod champion Dallas Seavey denied Monday that he administered banned drugs to his dogs in this year's race and said he has withdrawn from the 2018 race in protest over the allegations.
'I have never given any banned substance to my dogs,' Seavey said in a video posted to his Facebook page.
He didn't immediately return calls to The Associated Press after the Iditarod Trail Committee identified him as the musher who had four dogs test positive for a banned opioid pain reliever after finishing the race last March in Nome.
Seavey said he fully expected the committee to ban him from the race for speaking out. There's a so-called gag rule preventing mushers from making statements critical of the race or sponsors.

He was ‘Blood Doping’, using your own red blood cells taken weeks in advance, then just before the race reinserting them into yourself.
Gives more oxygen and thus longer stamina.

It was some sort of anti inflammatory I believe.
They tested him all the time- that was why he was so believable... but he had a very complex blood exchanging scheme in place.
They would give themselves a whole blood transfusion - changing 100% of his blod.
Where you get that much blood should be questioned. I imagine you have to have enough to completely drain you an make sure only fresh blood goes in.
First of all that is a heck of a process just to cheat.
It’s very expensive and takes out a blood bank. Unless they were cleaning his blood somehow and putting it back in his body kinda on a kidney dialysis machine.
