French President Emmanuel Macron and Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar say they are ready to discuss the contentious issue of taxing internet giants after a meeting in Paris.
Macron is leading the tax charge in Europe, saying its not fair that internet companies dont pay taxes where they make most of their money.
Countries that serve as tax shelters for companies like Apple, including Ireland, have resisted the proposed measure.

...and of course no one knows if it will be a windfall, but you can’t fault “them” for trying.
Don’t you just love the fair share meme.
They of course want to use the “windfall” to not only enrich themselves, but create a military that is not answerable to any of the member states (except one).
