Guo Wengui, a wealthy Chinese businessman, sat in the sun room of his apartment on the 18th-floor of the Sherry-Netherland Hotel on New York’s Fifth Avenue. With him were four officials from China’s Ministry of State Security, whom Mr. Guo had agreed to meet.

If you have a library card, there’s a good chance your local library has access to a database that lets you search the Wall Street Journal’s archives. You may need to access it through your library’s website, which will have a page of links to online resources, which you will need to click on and enter your library card number and PIN or password. For copyright (aka lawsuit avoidance) reasons, no more than the blurb shown above can be quoted on Free Republic.
