I agree. When a “leer” can get you fired or sued, the women have a responsibility to not show off the goods all the time. But they use that power like a weapon. So, it is an assault.
Women need to understand that the signals they send are potent, and recognize their responsibility. Mothers used to teach this skill, but it’s been a while in some families.
Some women dress “lively” when they feel safe, in terms of expectations of others’ reasonable behaviour. Of course, sometimes that confidence is misplaced. Outliers need to be scorned, not humped.
