I am out here in flyover country and see nothing wrong with President Trump setting the record straight with a military widow or anyone else. If he doesn’t say anything many will assume it is true.
We elected a fighter, he is going to fight. He is not going to cower quietly and allow the left to steam roll over him. I voted for him because I hoped he would stand up to the left, we have not had any leadership that would for a very long time. The left has been steamrolling our leaders and us without a thought. I am fed up with that.
I am a huge supporter of the military, my family has and continues to serve. We have current active duty family members, one who was fairly recently where these men were killed. I have great respect for those that die in the service of our country and great sympathy for their families. I don’t let them off the hook if they decide to grandstand for the liberals.
I've never lived anywhere other than "flyover country"... wouldn't have it any other way.
I agree with your point about the need to set the record straight. But, Trump had already done that... after that Windbag, Wilson popped off. I believe, the remarks by Gen Kelly were forceful, and to the point. Nothing REALLY needed to be said after that. Every tweet since that day has only served to keep the issue alive, when it doesn't need to be. NOTHING new has been disclosed by anyone. Why is it still in the news?
Because Trump keeps responding.
