Andrea Yates was in a state of psychosis, detached from reality, and acted without pre-meditation or motive as was documented in her trial and finding of guilty by reason of insanity when she drowned her children. This woman cooked her kids in an oven with the stated intent of filming it and sending it to the father who she was having a dispute with in order to hurt him psychologically.
