They are playing with it. They think they are not serious- just getting esoteric thrills. The real Satanists who are peripheral to the elite society are serious though, and it is the sort of thing that once one dips one’s toe into the water it is difficult not to wet the ankle then the whole body and then it is hard to withdraw but Satanism is not the drawing card.
