Just starting the conversation about this guy. I'm not sure if he lied to begin with on when/how he was shot. I'm also not sure why he exited stage left before any media interviews. But...he sure looks like he's got a muslim beard to me...

Well, ‘Muslim’ is a ‘religion’ not a race.
And while the beard can be a tip-off there are as many non-muslims with scraggly beards than there are muslims with them.
I’m GUESSING that the reason that Campos disappeared is because he is an Illegal Alien who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, not a jihadi.
