I was born in ‘69 so by the time I was old enough to turn on a radio in the mid-70s, disco was all the rage. Around the turn of the decade disco was dying off, and I came of age, spending my teen years in the 80s. It was a great decade to grow up and I look back on the era with great fondness. Some songs like John Cougar’s “Jack and Diane,” or Simple Minds, “Don’t You Forget About Me,” will send me back there instantly....
