As to the Huskers, at least they have that American Association of Universities thing going for them that was a prerequisite for being in the B1G. Hope it helps them keep selling out that stadium in Lincoln...

Grew up going to Nebraska games. Loved it.
However, the BEST thing for Nebraska as a state and a school is for the emphasis on football to go away. I went to Iowa State because Nebraska just didn’t want to have much of an engineering school. Tons of money for players to have private scooters, five star dining, and enough money to buy a car after graduating in exercise studies.
To many schools only function as farm teams for the NBA and NFL.
