In a pretrial hearing Thursday for a Twin Peaks biker, Dallas Bandidos leader Christopher Jacob Carrizal, prosecutors and defense attorney Casie Gotro worked out final discovery that the state must turn over to her Thursday.
Judge Matt Johnson of 54th District Court announced the questionnaires will be handed out and filled out by 140 potential jurors on Monday, October 9th.
Gotro has been alleging all along that District Attorney Abel Reyna's office was not providing her with documents she had requested.
On Thursday some of those documents were approved by the judge to be handed over.
Following the questionnaires Monday, the final jury will be selected on Tuesday for first trial of a biker charged in the deadly shootout.
"We're going to trial Tuesday come hell or high water," Gotro said.
The Twin Peaks shootout happened on May 17, 2015.
Nine bikers were killed and more than 20 others were hurt in the shootout.
Carrizal was one of 177 bikers arrested after the shooting.
Carrizal was originally indicted on Nov. 10, 2015 for engaging in organized criminal activity, but a new indictment in late June charges Carrizal with directing activities of a street gang, engaging in organized criminal activity with the underlying offense of murder and engaging in organized criminal activity with the underlying offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Not to make light of the situation but good thing this isn’t FLA as they might get both this weekend.

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES BEFORE TRIAL?
The court may set any criminal case for a pre-trial hearing before it is set for trial upon its merits. The pre-trial hearing is to determine legal issues only such as:
(1) arraignment of the defendant, if such be necessary;
(2) appointment of counsel to represent the defendant, if such be necessary;
(3) motions for change of venue;
(4) motions for continuance;
(5) defense motions to discover the state’s evidence in the case;
(6) defense motions to suppress (exclude) evidence; and
(7) any other defense motion. These matters are decided by the judge; sometimes the defense and/or prosecution present evidence and/or witness testimony.
